1941 born in Cloppenburg (GER). Worked and lived in Schallstadt bei Freiburg und Cadaqués/Spain until his death in October 2017.
Main topic of his work is the flawless female body known from the advertisments of the 70’s. Detached from its setting, Berges places the women into a whole new context. Distinguished representative of German Pop Art.
Signed and limited editions on vat paper deriving from drawings of the 70’s.
