1964 born in Cleveland (USA). Worked and lived in New York until his death in January 2022.
„Create your own reality“ was the „leitmotif“ that Billy the Artist (BTA) lives by. Billy captured the energy and power of the city around him, creating what he called „Urban Primitive Pop“, a kaleidoscope of puzzle-like images. He has been embraced by both the fine and commercial art worlds, exhibiting at Art Basel Miami, Fashion Shows or creating watches (SWATCH), beercans, clothing as well as doing live performances such as painting live on the Bund, Shanghai.
Originals (Acrylic paint, ink) on canvas. Commission of Live Paintings, Graffitis, designs for cars, motorcycles, sculptures, etc.
