TANJA KIESEWALTER

1970 born in Hamm (Germany). Lives and works in Havixbeck.

The internationally successful artist stands out in the German pop art scene with her “Crazy Clouds” (cloudy cut-out shape).

A mixture of pop art, street art and abstract painting merges with cult figures and comic icons to create colourful works. For her unusual pop collages, she uses torn-off posters and posters from all over the world and combines them with scraps of writing, quotes and glitter to create an exciting crossover between tradition and modernity on aluminium dibond. Finally, the three-dimensionally layered collages are sealed with a high-gloss synthetic resin.

Represented by Foxx Gallery since 2017.
