GITE

Brigitte lemfré alias GITE, born (1958) and raised in Nancy, lives and works in Sainte Eulalie d’Olt (F).

After her studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Nancy, Gite wrote and illustrated children books. Since 2000 the artist dedicates her life to her big passion: sculptures. Modelling her works with clay, they incorporate biomorphic forms and striking colors. Her technique is exquisite, winning first prize at the international “Concours Céramique” 2013 in Carouge. With sarcasm and humor she depicts society, using her works as language and written word.

Gite’s works are represented in collections around the globe.

Each sculpture is a 1 of 1. Since 2014 GITE produces certain works in miniseries using resin. These are made in collaboration with other artists.

Since 2015 represented by Foxx Gallery.
